Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition Hits Steam

By Chris Faylor, Dec 17, 2009 11:31am PST Joining other retailers and digital outlets, the expansion-packing Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition is now available for digital download from Steam.

Priced at $49.99, the Game of the Year Edition bundles Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG with the five downloadable expansions--Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta--that arrived post-release at $10 a piece.

At present, the all-inclusive Game of the Year Edition marks the only way to purchase the expansions through Steam, as the individual add-ons for the regular edition can only be acquired through the Games for Windows Live Marketplace.

  • I wish Nvidia would get their current drivers worked out to fully support this game again. 186.18 (or any drivers pre-190.xx) were the last forceware revision(s) released that would allow it to play stutter free with FSAA enabled.

Yeah, It runs smooth with it completely disabled and i'm cool with that, but it also ran smooth with FSAA before the issue cropped up.

I've also been reluctant to patch beyond 1.0.0.15 due to VATS lag that came with the patches after (and subsequently have avoided the DLC due to the patch requirement)... does that issue still exist since patch 1.7?
