Mega Man 10 Media Is Totally Mega, All Platforms Dated
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 17, 2009 10:06am PSTCapcom has released the first screenshots and trailer for Mega Man 10, the latest downloadable entry in the classic action platformer series.
With a Roboenza pandemic apparently sweeping the globe and turning robots violent, it's up to Mega Man or Proto Man to save the world--and their housekeeping female counterpart Roll.
The trailer also reveals the 'Easy Mode,' which Capcom says "will allow more fans to indulge in the challenges that make the series great" and seemingly simplifies jumping puzzles. 'Mega Man Challenges' meanwhile will apparently "allow players to practice their skills and prepare for the hair-raising adventures ahead of them."
Mega Man 10 will hit Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March. There's no word on pricing yet, though the similar Mega Man 9 cost $10.

In the highest res you LCD supports and get AA and other graphical enhancements for free?
Just this fact alone just makes the whole thing seem wrong, what if Doom 5 looked like Doom 1? Or if Street Fighter 5 looked like yi ar kung fu?
Yes I am a graphics whore, but do we not want to see progression that is not recycled and completely fresh? So confused....

He was later asked about developing a 2D Mega Man title with the same level of detail as VanillaWare's Muramasa and Odin Sphere titles. "That's a good idea, cause the graphics in those games are good, but as a designer and creator, if I did copy that style, it would be imitating, he said.
"It's not proper manners to steal."

Its actually an interesting read. Ah I guess I should let go the CPS 1, CPS2, and CPS 3 Arcade days, Capcom's 2D glory is long gone :(
