Red Dead Redemption Gameplay Trailer: Lovely Stuff
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 15, 2009 1:19pm PSTRockstar San Diego has given a splendid first real look at its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 open-world western Red Dead Redemption in the first of a new gameplay trailer series.
"One of the goals when designing the game was to create a seamless blend of action and discovery where things can happen unexpectedly at any time," says a knowing narrator, introducing features from lassoing criminals, five-finger fillet and treasure-hunting to its "Dead-eye targeting system" and "hundreds of unique characters."
Red Dead Redemption arrives for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 27, 2010.

I guess we're going to get the GTA IV treatment again though, and maybe see the PC version sometime near the end of 2010. Hopefully being developed in a PC friendly engine, it'll actually be a decent port, if you can even call a Tech5 game a port.

Being a PC gamer (main) I must ask any pc guys or girls just reply to my post and see how many signs we can get. Who would buy this on the PC? Just a signed reply with Yes will do.
Also to note, if Producers, Publishers think there is no money in Digital PC sales they are out of there minds. D2D, Steam, Impluse, GamersGate, etc all make just as much money on PC games as consoles. Also some of us are developers so don't tell us that you whould have to start from sratch for a PC port, you are making 360 version, we are not stupid.

I wasn't sure about this game before, but this is a great example of how to make a trailer. Informative, beautiful, unhindered by pointless developer head-shots and deceptively flashy editing. Marketing morons, pay attention and learn from this example.
Meanwhile I will go add this one to my list...

I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for a PC port. I've already resigned myself to playing this on X360.
