Dragon Age Coming to Mac Next Monday
by Chris Faylor, Dec 14, 2009 10:50pm PSTThe official Mac-compatible release of Dragon Age: Origins will arrive as a digital download next Monday, December 21, original developer BioWare and "portability technologies" studio TransGaming announced today.
The Mac version of the RPG will be sold in standard and digital deluxe form through "popular online digital reatilers," according to today's press release.
As with the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Dragon Age, which hit November 3, The Stone Prisoner add-on will be bundled with the game, with the "digital deluxe" version also packing a Warden's Keep add-on that can be bought separately.

There aren't a boatload of companies making multiplayer games for mac but there are almost none making mac only multiplayer. Come up with a network protocol for a game and it is pretty simple to implement in OS X if you know how to do it with Windows.
UDP is UDP. TCP is TCP. Packets are Packets. Spit em out right and it doesn't matter what OS picks them up.
