      There is a long list of games that have been mac and pc compatible. Everything from ID and Blizzard has been compatible (Not sure about DOOM I and II). I am pretty sure all of the other Cedega games EA psuedo-ported to OS X were compatible to (Battlefields 2142 among these for certain).
      
      There aren't a boatload of companies making multiplayer games for mac but there are almost none making mac only multiplayer. Come up with a network protocol for a game and it is pretty simple to implement in OS X if you know how to do it with Windows.
      
      UDP is UDP. TCP is TCP. Packets are Packets. Spit em out right and it doesn't matter what OS picks them up.
