Brink Media Blowout: Three New Gameplay Videos
by Chris Faylor, Dec 04, 2009 2:52pm PSTTo help ease the sting of the game's recent delay, Bethesda has put out a few new gameplay videos from Splash Damage's Brink, providing a three-part walkthrough of the title's various gameplay mechanics and Container City area.
Now slated for fall 2010, the latest class-based shooter from the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars vets is coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The second and third parts follow, as does a breakdown of the game:

I wish developers would stop showcasing the console versions. Mouse+Keyboard is by far a superior control method.

I honestly can't believe people are complaining about gun sights and bobbing and them showcasing a console version when the game obviously looks like it will be fun and is trying to push to genre a bit. It's an early build and will only get better with time.

Wolf:ET goes without saying, but I was in the minority that really liked ETQW too. Here's to hoping Brink is a hit, and sticks to the complex, objective-based teamplay these guys do best.

And I do like the visual style a lot, hopefully this will be a more worthy successor to Wolf ET than Quake Wars was.
something's wrong with gun movement when walking, it looks like the character has to do 5 steps to travel one meter
and it looks like you need to unload whole mag from machine pistol into bad guy's back to kill him
bullet spread was to tight too,
full auto from the hip at a target about 25 meters away - good luck
even mw2 has more common with a bit of realism than this
these aren't major issues but for me very annoying details that spoil the whole image
looks nice but like an early unbalanced/unpolished stage of the game
I hope they will sort that out, at the moment I'd skip on this one

Nitpick: Please get someone who can play FPS better with a controller, OR demo the game on PC for video. Painfully slow and frustrating to watch him acquire some targets or move to certain locations :/
I keep hoping they don't find some way to fuck it up...

looks like modern warfare meets enemy territory
i need an engineeeer!
But, generally I cannot enjoy single player games that have a MP focus which unfortunately seems like what this game is. I just can't get into them. And it takes way too long to kill a single person...a whole mag!!
The idea of each player being able to select an individual objective is pretty cool though (that's what I understood from these videos anyway). Could make for some great strategy.
