Serious Sam HD Revamp Continues with Second Encounter; First Encounter Getting Deathmatch
by Chris Faylor, Nov 30, 2009 2:30pm PSTHaving just released a high-definition remake of Serious Sam: The First Encounter in the form of Serious Sam HD, developer Croteam and producer Devolver Digital have revealed that Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is to undergo a similar re-release.
Due out "in early 2010 for PC and home console," Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is said to deliver the "insane action of the original game but with visuals beautifully rendered to current standards" and a a new co-op tournament mode.
As for the first Serious Sam HD, fansite Seriously! reports that Croteam is planning to patch dedicated server support and a deathmatch mode into the shooter.
