Once due in spring 2010, Brink--the latest from Quake Wars developer Splash Damage--has apparently been pushed back to fall 2010 on all three platforms.

Word of the delay emerged via G4, which today posted a new video of the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 shooter that ends with the phrase "Revolution Begins Fall 2010."

We've contacted publisher Bethesda for more details. In the meantime, why not check out the video, which details the class-based FPS's S.M.A.R.T. movement system:

  • Okay, this qualifies as actual innovation. I thought this was just going to be yet another shooter but I am now putting this game on my watch list.

    1. When he said "no canned animation that you are locked into and can't get out of" my ears perked up. This needs to be in all shooters. This is an awesome feature.

    2. Character customization. To hell with all you purists that believe in identical sides. I am so sick of that symmetric bullshit. Asymmetric is where it's at, and not just in abilities. I always wanted to customize the look of my soldier in Battlefield 2 and Modern Warfare. I hate the stock models. I liked Rainbow Six Vegas' dress up Barbie feature, okay?
