In addition to offering delicious eye candy, the diary entry delves into the new 'corruption' mechanic which can see your troops falling prey to the perverting influence of Chaos.
Your behaviour in missions can nudge your squads down a path of purity or of Chaos to open up powerful new Wargear options, with producer Jeff Lydell making clear that
"neither is a penalty--they both come with unique rewards and playstyles."
Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War 2 - Chaos Rising is scheduled for release on PC in March 2010, boasting "more of everything that made Dawn of War II itself amazing."
