BioShock 2 Multiplayer Trailer Shows Killing Spree

New BioShock 2 gameplay footage has risen from the murky depths of the Internet to show a little from one of the multiplayer modes created by Digital Extremes for 2K Marin's subaqueous shooter sequel, including a glimpse of 'Trial' challenges.

BioShock 2 arrives for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 9, 2010, with a swanky Special Edition packing Rapturian artifacts including a vinyl LP and posters.

I really don't think this game needed MP ! I think they are on the MP bandwagon must have but I don't see it shifting anymore copies than it would without the MP.

Gameplay looks fast and fun.. At the same time, it looks like a "think on your feet" kind of thing where everything doesn't just boil down to whoever has the best reflexes, but instead using your plasmids and weapons effectively together in conjunction.

It looks kind of cool but it seemed like they were playing it on a console - the movements were all jerky and straight-lined like console shooters always look. Just as a suggestion, it may help your cause more with these trailers (this goes out to any Dev reading the Shack) to showcase the PC version's gameplay in the trailers - you can show them at higher resolutions and the gameplay will look smoother too. Of course the toss-up is that it's not really representational of the final console product, I suppose.

Coop I could see working in a game like Bioshock. Generic deathmatches and all that shit seems like a horrible waste of time and effort.
