PlayStation 3 Facebook Firmware Due Today
by Chris Faylor, Nov 18, 2009 12:23pm PSTAnnounced earlier this week, the PlayStation 3 firmware update (v3.10) that delivers Facebook integration is due for release today.
Said to be the beginning of the PlayStation Network's integration with Facebook, the functionality enables PlayStation 3 owners to automatically update the social networking site with PlayStation Store purchases, game progress and trophy notifications.
The update also brings with it revised photo organization and a revamped look for the friends list, addressing complaints that surfaced after firmware v3.00.
