Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter for PC - Gone Gold!
by Jeff Mattas, Nov 03, 2009 5:32pm PSTThe PC version of Croteam's seriously chaotic FPS Serious Sam HD is now gold, according to an earlier tweet from publisher Devolver Digital.
Powered by the new Serious Engine 3, the high-definition remake tells the story of Sam "Serious" Stone's journey back to ancient Egypt to battle Notorious Mental and the Sirian army, and of the excessive and bloody carnage that ensues.
The Xbox Live Arcade version hasn't achieved gold status yet, but is expected to arrive about the same time as the PC release.

It's Borderlands but boring. What's the point?
Serious Sam was fine in its day. We've moved on. Do something new, Croteam.
