BioShock 2 Trailer Explains 'Capture The Sister' Multiplayer Mode

Kidnapping children and shoving them into tiny vents while fending off gun-toting pursuers? Just another day in BioShock 2's "Capture the Sister" multiplayer mode.

For a closer examination, check out the trailer below. BioShock 2 hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 9. The game's single-player campaign is being handled by 2K Marin, with external studio Digital Extremes crafting the online multiplayer portions.

Clarification: There are 4 studios working on BioShock 2. They are 2K Marin, 2K Australia, Digital Extremes, and Arkane Studios. That info has all been announced previously. The question is whether the four studios can put together a coherent game between them.

I had started to think that developers felt people wouldn't buy a game without an adversarial multiplayer element (I actually prefer coop) but having played the excellent Uncharted 2 multiplayer I am gonna give 2k the benefit of the doubt and hope this will be good too.
