Crazy question... anyone here know that they had/have swine flu?

I was traveling in the states last week, came home Friday evening (from Detroit via Denver), and Sunday morning woke up sick. It wasn't too bad, felt like a mild flu. Every day, in the evening, it felt like I was getting better... then I'd have a poor nights sleep and wake up feeling worse. Thing is, I had no headaches, only your typical flu fever, and no stomach problems... so I dismissed it as not swine flu. Tuesday night I was feeling really good, like I was out of the woods.

Tonight, day 4 of my flu, I feel worse than ever. Really, REALLY tired and achy... feels like I have mono but more concentrated. Lots of nasal congestion, but the number one thing is how tired I am. It's exceptional. Second thing is that despite treating it well (have been home all week taking it easy), it's just getting worse.

The thing that really has me worried is this as one of the warning signs of H1N1: "your flu symptoms improve but then come back; your cough is worse and you have a fever" (from http://www.lung.ca/diseases-maladies/a-z/swineflu-grippeporcine/index_e.php).

Anyone got any real experience with this? The details they give you online are really hard to troubleshoot with because they basically describe every flu I've every heard of and say you can have any of the symptoms. I know now that there are more than a few confirmed cases out there... any here know of one of them and can speak in detail of the real experiences?

OK, so I'm considering getting a MacBook. But thanks to the new ones that just came out, I'm really hard pressed to decide which one to get. I've checked out some videos and it seems that the 9400M (which is on both the white and aluminum Pro) holds its own in games like GTA4 which would be good for my college boredom. And since both the white and the Pro MacBook 13-inches have pretty much zero difference (DDR3, same amount of HDD space), I don't really know which one to get.

Should I go with the cheaper white laptop, or the cooler Pro version? Are there any tiny differences that I should be aware of?

And please, none of that "MAC SUCKS, DON'T BUY ANY OF THEM" crap. I've made up my mind, I would like my money to go with Apple.

so i watched an episode of Man vs Wild for the first time.
Fuck that show sucks, he was 'stuck' out in australia all on his own (and his 25 member film crew).

The stupid fucker goes "oh my GOD its hot here" and then proceeds to march at a blistering pace in the middle of the fucking day. Then he goes "these cliffs are really dangerous and loose" and then JUMPS down a bunch of sections of it. He then says you need "1 litre and a half of water every hour!" and marches in the hammering heat with just a tiny water can apparently filled with his own pee.

If anyone followed his advice they would be dead of heatstroke in the first couple of hours. I also loved how he 'walked' for what was it, two days, and got to the coastline. Real survival technique, is to stay fucking put. There was no problem water wise since you just had to wait for the afternoon rains due to the monsoon season.

What a douche.

Alright, I know I'm trying to give you all a break but this is for all you Forza III guys out there, so it's kind of right on topic.
I just spent the last 3 hours testing out one of these.

Cost is about 10$ US and a few dollars shipping, it was surprisingly fast international too.

The first 10 minutes I was thinking this might be a little bit better but ultimately not worth the money and just some junk gizmo I'd throw in a drawer. I've got to say after a few hours though it's pretty damn great. Infact I don't think I'd like to race without it. Obviously it's not going to turn you in to the best player ever but it totally helps, no question.
I have real difficulty doing those finer adjusting turns without wildly swinging the thumbstick, maybe I have dumb thumbs, maybe I'm getting old or the sticks are too short, but this really helped and made me feel more control of the car and without feeling hampered I actually found myself enjoying the game more too.

For only 10bucks you can't go wrong, I really think it's totally worth it, it comes with 2 and you only really need 1 anyhow so you get a spare too. Very glad I got this, really enjoying the game.

P.P.S I've become an M3 2002 fan, it looks hot and drives hot, what a beast.

I am become death, destroyer of Fleshies! I'm now level 18 and still this is my go to weapon for those "Oh shit" moments when I need to kill a ton of enemies quick. The fact that it's lasted this long probably means it's quite OP, but I don't care! Soldier with a level 7 Pistol Prof, go figure.

Just played a round with some shackers. LOTS OF FUN so far. Wacking zombies with the riot stick/guitar/frying pan is some serious fun and a viable way to defend yourself from hordes.

Also, the mid-level climax scene in the demo is major LOLs and super fun.

Dumb question I'm sure: Is GTA episodes from Liberty City a stand alone product? Meaning you don't need the original GTA 4 to play it? Also does it have 1000 achievement points or 400? (200 for each episode)
