First EA Sports MMA Screenshot Released

Close to five months after the game was announced, Electronic Arts has issued the first media from its upcoming MMA fighter.

The shot arrived today via Facebook, with Electronic Arts noting: "First EA SPORTS MMA screen shot that ran in SI this week....and yes...actual game footage."

Little else is known of EA Sports MMA, which is coming from Madden NFL and Tiger Woods PGA Tour developer EA Tiburon. Only a handful of fighters have been confirmed thus far, with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game not due until 2010.

Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal are definitely in this as well as rumours about Randy Couture and many others. There's footage of the first two testing the game where the EA dudes talk about their characters stats in the game.
