League of Legends Enters Open Beta
by Nick Breckon, Oct 22, 2009 4:30pm PDTIn advance of the game's official release next week, Riot Games' DotA-esque, team-based RTS League of Legends has entered open beta, allowing interested champions to get a jump on the official start.
Sign up for the beta on the official site. The free-to-play game enters its pre-season on Tuesday, October 27.

Overall, it's a neat game, and you should probably try it out since it's free. As a side note, from what I experienced, it can take upwards of an hour to get the game actually fully updated after downloading the beta client. It's worth the wait though.
