Think of Army of Two: The 40th Day's new extraction mode as a mobile version of Horde or Firefight. Up to four players will move through four zones, surviving progressively challenging waves of enemy fighters.

You can also think of it as a preorder bonus, as only those that pre-buy the game will be able to play Extraction in the first month of the game's release. Bummer.

I can't wait for the first game that costs $60 but has no content whatsoever. You will have to pre-order it to be able to play and then buy the day 1 DLC to get past the first level. I was thinking Acti would be the ones to do this but now I'm thinking it might just be EA.

Whew! Another game to cross off my "must get" list. If it ends up being really good I can always pick it up used after the 30 days is up. The bin should be full of games from folks who either pre-ordered and got sick of wandering around empty servers, or got shafted and got sick of waiting to be able to play the whole game. Nice going there EA, really showing the industry how it's done. Done wrong that is.

Vote with your wallet. If you pay the same price everyone else pays why shouldn't be entitled to enjoying the full game at launch? I say don't pay. Don't even bother buying this game.
