Without dedicated servers, you have a much harder time forming, joining, or otherwise becoming a part of an online FPS gaming community. There is much to be said for playing on a server where 90% of the players are the same guys day after day. Increases game longevity and fun factor many times over.

Same, this game just became a no buy from me as well. This sucks.

get Dragon Age instead! Every review so far has been outstanding, PCG UK called it the RPG of the decade.

The key words there are "PCG UK" - not really generating a lot of credibility if you ask me by referencing that source. They have some GREAT writers but most of the reviews seem extremely wonky.

On EA's payroll or something? (I will be buying Dragon Age though.) I agree with Registry_Error though. Probably won't buy it unless they change this.

They raised the price, which brought it to 60 Euro here, which is 90 US Dollar. No way I'm gonna pay that for gimped multiplayer with shitty console interface.

The multiplayer was why I wanted to buy it, the 6 hour singleplayer might be nice too, but MP is where its at for me.
