I mean, yeah, it's almost a decade after realMyst came out and half a decade after doom 3 came out but...

Awesome, can't wait to try this out. I'm so glad the mod team kept with it to this stage - so many mods fizzle out on the way, and this is has been one of my most anticipated mods for years.

I hate to bag on peoples creative work but the screenshots don't really look all that impressive. I'm not sure if its the Doom 3 engine or the actual talent behind this work. But I will give it a shot before I pass judgement. I'd just like to say though anyone who takes the time to make a mod of this scale and complexity deserves to be recognized for a job well done.

So how is it that a guy puts enough thought into making fucking ARROWS TIPPED WITH WATER BALOONS to extinguish flaming torches to remain stealthy but it slips his mind that he is wearing the largest heaviest most Dutch clogs that make a CLIP CLOP sound like a horse doing the C-Walk down a castle hallway?

The mapping/modding community for the first 2 Thief games was startlingly prolific (and in a quality way), especially considering the balky tools they had to work with. I don't really have any expectation that a lot of creators will gravitate to Dark Mod, but... it could be very cool if they did.

Deus Ex is a console franchise since IW. Same can likely be said for Thief since DS. Assuming the primary development platform being x360 as it is with nearly everything developed these days.
