Two Worlds II Screenshots Talk Sad Stumps
by Chris Faylor, Oct 19, 2009 9:15am PDT"Those tree stumps around here are too short for this," he tells me. "But there's a crypt in the old drowned cemetery that'll work nicely." Only later did I realize the horrible truth behind his words. Only later did I consider that he had been hitting on me.
Two Worlds II is slated to hit PC, Mac and unspecified "next-gen consoles" this winter, with developer Reality Pump returning to helm the action-RPG sequel. The planned "Temptation" add-on for the original Two Worlds (PC, Xbox 360) was scrapped in favor of the sequel, which features a "revolutionary new engine called GRACE."

If they really fleshed the idea of the first game out, I think they could come up with something completely revolutionary.
Granted, I still play a lot of D2 Eastern Sun, so I might be somewhat biased towards ARPGs.
So please, explain to me how a couple patches made this game to be considered good by some people on the computer, and furthermore warrant a sequal. Is it like comparing TF2 consoles to PCs sort of thing?

I hated the main characters face texture (always wore a helmet) nice to see the new one looks cool and not lame.

And you had to enter them in each time the game started! Ugh. Plus the netcode for coop was godawful.
