God of War Collection Trailer: Look Ma, No Jaggies

You might have heard that the God of War Collection coming to PlayStation 3 packs smoother versions of former PlayStation 2 exclusives God of War I and II. You might have also heard that the November-due release includes God of War III demo access.

But now, the time for talking is over. Now, we have a trailer. Now, it's time to watch.

It's like throwing a fresh slipcover over a pile of wood and calling it a chair.

Gimmicky crap like this doesn't deserve my money; Hell, I only bought God Of War 2 because it was in a bargain bin at 10 bucks AND I was pissing off the kid at the register who paid 40 for it new...

Am I the only one that feels the PS3 is gaining a lot of momentum lately? It'll probably never outsell the Wii, but outselling X360 is starting to look like a real possibility.

Awesome, instant purchase for me.

Some questions:

1. Will this be 1080p or 720?
2. Did they decide to not re do the textures? They said probably not from the looks of it I would say not.

A few comments too. Well if they did in fact not red do the textures, why on earth would you not do that if you where already doing such a cool thing and bringing it to the PS3 in 1080p, would it hurt to pay some artist to make some real high res textures for the game?

I never got around to playing God of War 2. I own #1 and loved it, but my old PS2 died before #2 came out and I just haven't got around to it yet after buying a new slimPS2.

This is a must buy for me when it's released, it looks really good. Let's just hope there aren't any crazy glitches or show stopping bugs from the conversion and this paves the way for some more conversions!

I've still never played 2 but I loved 1. I will buy this for sure.

I bought 2 when it came out but my PS2 died on the same day. Then I got a PS3 with no back compat. Then I finally bought a PS2 a couple of months ago, but then heard this was coming so I figured I'd wait for it.
