2K Readies DRM-free Stronghold Collection
by Nick Breckon, Oct 12, 2009 4:00pm PDTFans of castle-sieging and real-time resource management will get their fix with 2K's Stronghold Collection, a pack that bundles the five Stronghold games for $30.
For those not keeping track of the Stronghold lineage, the pack includes Stronghold, Stronghold 2, Stronghold Crusader, the ridiculous Stronghold Crusader Extreme, and Stronghold Legends.
The entire bundle is DRM-free, ensuring a painless plate of strategy gaming. Look out for it in US stores on October 27; the rest of the world will see it sometime in 2010. We're checking on whether it'll make it to Steam and other digital retailers.
