Team Fortress 2 Hide and Seek Mod Found to be Great
by Nick Breckon, Oct 07, 2009 3:23pm PDTDarkimmortal's crazy Prop Hunt mod for Team Fortress 2 has been out for a little while, but somehow eluded us until now. Thanks to the below video, we can safely say this is something worth checking out.
The setup is simple: one team spawns as Team Fortress 2 props and scurries to hide, while the other all-Pyro team must seek out and identify those props from the rest of the scenery. It all results in some fairly hilarious situations, such as the sequence beginning at 4:25.
More info on the mod, and servers where it's being played, can be found in the Steam forum thread. Thanks to fullbright for the link.

Most of the hilarity seems to be from the users rather then the mod (taunts, voice/text, and how they act).

Red spawns as objects from the start and you can't change it, which is annoying if you're a giant pile of wood or a control point. Still though, it can be a positive if played right. This is a mod that rewards ingenuity and cleverness. I spawned as a control point and hid in the water right by a wall, rendering me invisible to all but those who came near enough to see me.
I'd love to play this against some Shackers for sure! There are plenty of great moments to be found here, and lots of hilarity for sure. The European servers tend to crash, which gets annoying. I think it's because people have to download the map from the servers or something along those lines.
