Heavenly Sword Dev's 'Enslaved' Revealed
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 29, 2009 10:40am PDTPublisher Namco Bandai has released the first screenshots and details of Enslaved, the Ico-ish fruits of its partnership with Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory.
Described as "a mix of combat, strategy and environment traversal," Enslaved sees "strong and brutish loner" Monkey armed with "melee attacks, blocks and counters" and "takedown moves" to defend "technologically savvy but sheltered" AI partner Trip.
Co-written by 28 Days Later and The Beach writer Alex Garland, Enslaved's story seems heavily inspired by classic Chinese novel Journey to the West--made for television as kung fu-fest Monkey--with Trip hacking into into Monkey's "slave headband" to bind the pair of escaped slaves together as they travel across a post-apocalyptic USA.
Enslaved is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

I personally hated Heavenly Sword.
The character Kai was the most annoying character probably in video game history. I also hated the main character she was annoying as well. On top of that the combat sucked and camera angles where bad. On top of that the side games where you aim a bow projectile or catapult was down right impossible and made me want to destroy my room and made me turn into a maniac. So what you unlocked more combos who cares it was a baaad game.
Anyways I hope they make something better and not frustrating and bland.

I bet you there's a twist in the story and they're actually androids.
