Forza 3 Gameplay Trailers Deliver Laps

This will be a great game, but I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed by the demo. The in-car view wasn't as impressive as I thought it might be. In particular, looking around is difficult, can't see the entire rear view mirror, looking to the right or left is jarring since the forward view is in car, but the looking to the side or rear is full view. Wish it was a smooth control with the right analog, but I guess they didn't model the interior door cars, etc.

Graphics definitely don't keep up with GT5. Lots of aliasing even in the HD mode you see when picking the car color, and obviously missing details, like the exhaust tips just kinda disappear into a black wall on the back of the car, wheels look under-detailed, etc. I wasn't immediately thinking, "Gee, this looks better than Forza 2." Looks good, but not phenomenal. I'll still get it, but I'm thinking I'll wait for a price drop so I don't end up with a $80 game purchase with DLC.

In the demo I didn't like how easy it is to take over cars on the outside when going around turns. Even on the hard difficulty it seems like the AI has issues with the braking when going around them.
