Return to Ultima Online for Free, Temporarily
by Nick Breckon, Sep 28, 2009 4:00pm PDTIn celebration of the 12th anniversary of Ultima Online, EA and Mythic are allowing former players to reactivate their accounts for a temporary free trial of the game's latest content.
All former Britannia citizens can reactive their accounts and play up through October 16. Original user name and passwords should work--though if your account was placed in bad standing, it will not be available.
If you've forgotten your old information, password and account recovery can be processed at EA support.
The Ultima Online client can be grabbed on the game's official site, where new users can also sign up for the 14-day free trial.
Returning players will have access to all of the game's free updates, including the seventh expansion, Mondain's Legacy. The eight expansion, Stygian Abyss, was released earlier this month, but has not yet been made available to all players as a free expansion.
