Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood v1.1 Patch Hits PC
by Chris Faylor, Sep 21, 2009 11:10am PDTFollowing the accidental release of the incomplete patch earlier in the month, Ubisoft today officially released the v1.1 update for Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood PC.
Now available on FileShack, the 58MB patch delivers several tweaks to Techland's wild west shooter, including bug fixes, multiplayer class changes, and mod support. Those looking to craft custom content will need to snag Techland's mod tools.
The complete patch notes follow below. Separate updates for the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions, presumably lacking mod support, are due "in the upcoming days."
General:Fixes and improvements:
- Added auto-patching functionality
- Added community map support for single and multiplayer
Multiplayer:
- Fixed crashing on the game start on quad core CPU systems
- Fixed an issue resulting in lost connection to internet lobby
- Fixed a framerate-related issue with stagecoach chase in single-player Chapter 3
Class balance:
- Time limits added to multiplayer games to prevent too high money gains from a single match
- Added the ability to disable sticky aim with dual guns
- Spawn invincibility time extended, spawn effect changed
- Added cheater reporting system
- Added chat functionality on the character selection screen after death
- Code modified to increase protection from cheats and hacks
- Spy: damage increased; health increased;
- Gunslinger: recoil reduced; accuracy improved;
- Hombre: recoil and reload time increased; damage at long range significantly reduced;
- Veteran: health and accuracy decreased; additional pistols removed;
- Sniper: no-scope accuracy and damage significantly reduced; health decreased; sidearm Ranger swapped for Classic Gun

Can we get a server side option to disable auto-aim and/or sticky aim... Techland? And an option to host a dedicated match for X360. Please.
