Iggy Pop Immortalized as LEGO Rock Band Character

MTV today announced that Iggy Pop has been recreated in exquisite plasticy detail for use in LEGO Rock Band.

Unfortunately, fans of Guitar Hero 5's liberal reincarnation of Kurt Cobain will be sad to note that Iggy is only available while playing his song "The Passenger," ruling out a classy Iggy Pop/Blink 182 mashup.

when is this coming out? I don't care about the game itself, I just want to rent it and import all the songs into RB2. Some of the tracks are pretty good.
