Farming Simulator 2009 Coming to North America
by Chris Faylor, Sep 17, 2009 2:30pm PDTNo longer will virtual farmers need to import their latest wares, as publisher Tri Synergy today announced that Farming Simulator 2009 (PC) is coming to North America.
Crafted by Swiss developer GIANTS (Farming Simulator 2008), Farming Simulator 2009 promises to deliver "the thrill of driving heavy modern farm equipment," complete with gamepad and steering wheel support, as players manage their crops and funds.
Unfortunately, a specific price point or release date for the title were not mentioned in today's announcement, though it was noted that the game carries an "E for Everyone" rating and "Alcohol Reference" content descriptor from the ESRB .
"One of the buildings in the game has a 'Quaff Beer' sign attached to it," explains the ESRB's rating synopsis. More details, courtesy Tri Synergy, follow below:

i could go on and on, really... a game like this can only capture the very worst parts of the experience, which is too bad. as an otherwise big-city-boy 3/4ths of the year, my times on the farm remains today some of the best times of my life, and its a shame so few people have the opportunity to enjoy the experience anymore...

Also...this is the first I had seen the full page ads...that fill the sides of my screen...do not want.
there's also construction destruction, was a construction sim, could drive a truck, and more around that (dunno english names for the other vehicles) and both had/have 1-2 hours trial of full game and then closed unless you bought the full game.. was kinda weird that only burnout did it since since that was few years ago :S
On a related note: as someone who has driven heavy modern farm equipment, I have to say it is exactly as thrilling as it looks.
