Announced this year at Blizzcon and hitting in 2010, Cataclysm will bring new Goblin and Worgen player races, a higher level cap of 85, an archeology secondary profession, and a revamped Azeroth with flying mount support, plus of course new areas and raids.

I am sure they'll clean it up. Frankly, I am looking foward to the re-invented zones being created with an eye toward a more powerful average computer system as compared to four years ago.
I don't worry much about WoW, although the resource shift to their new MMO, along with D3 and SC2 being the works makes me want to keep my eyes open and pay attention to quality.
If they're screwing up, and I think these shots are pretty meh, they need to be told that.
