Dawn of War 2 Picking Up Co-op Survival Mode

The joys of cooperative survival are coming to Dawn of War 2 in a new mode titled The Last Stand, Relic has announced, celebrated with screenshots and a cinematic trailer.

Up to three players will face varied waves of enemies as an Ork Mekboy, Eldar Farseer or Space Marine Captain, with persistent levels to unlock new weapons and armour.

Show me what passes for fury amongst your misbegotten kind, buddy.

The Last Stand will arrive alongside two new multiplayer maps, balance tweaks and bug fixes in a free update to Relic's Warhammer 40,000 PC real-time strategy this October. Read on to treat your eyes with a Space-Mexican standoff.

I was so bad at this game at launch for MP, i haven't tried it since. Who wants to let me tag along with them in MP? I'd really like to get good at RTS, but i never seem to put in the time getting owned for a week straight =(

I kind of figured there would be more single player mission based DLC based on the other classes by now. I'd buy it.

I suck at competitive RTSs, but the RPG part of this game scratched an itch pretty well.

Might try this when it comes out, though.

Anyone else see tons of similarities to the first L4D DLC?
Survival mode, map called "The Last Stand", two new multiplayer maps (or vs campaign conversions in L4D's case).
Just something I noticed. I'm not trying to mean anything by mentioning it. :P

Anybody have a guess as to why they'd limit it to those 3 heroes? Seems to me it would make programming easier and also make more sense to just allow any of the heroes. Maybe the 3 that were mentioned were just examples. (Why would they choose the MekBoy and not the Warboss?)
