Halo 3: ODST Trailer Explains Firefight Mode
by Chris Faylor, Aug 27, 2009 6:40pm PDTTo further explain Halo 3: ODST's "Firefight" multiplayer mode, publisher Microsoft and developer Bungie have issued a new trailer starring series veteran Sgt. Johnson.
Packing an all new campaign, every Halo 3 multiplayer map plus three new ones and beta access to Halo Reach, the full-priced prequel hits Xbox 360 on September 22.

Basically it feels like they are charging 60$ for a new gameplay mode, a couple new skins, and a new campaign (Which rumors say is very very short). There is no significant new content in my opinion to justify a 60$ price point. And these new game modes/squad based play should have just been released as cheap DLC for Halo 3.

I am not a huge halo3 MP player, mind you, but it was decent fun. I liked the coop much more, however, so I am actually looking forward to this, and I haven't even popped in my Halo 3 disc in over a year.
