Mass Effect DLC Arrives on PC

The new "Pinnacle Station" DLC for Mass Effect is now available for owners of the PC version.

Interested parties can head to the EA Store, which is selling the DLC for $5. Players must achieve Spectre status in order to play through the 13 missions of combat.

Well, at least it's not too expensive.

If Mass Effect took 20 hours to complete and cost $50, that would mean it cost $2.50 per hour. If this DLC provides 2 hours of gameplay at $5, then that will also be $2.50 per hour.

It's just so cute. After a couple of months they come out with a patch that doesn't fix all problems + they give us 2h of combat for 5$.
Don't get me wrong, I loved ME. I just wish EA wasn't such a pain in the ass for gamers.

So, what are your thoughts as to why this was kept in stealth mode? Is this just some extra content that wasn't ready come ship date, they finally found the time to make it usable, and then just dumped it on Live?

Bringing down the Sky was ridiculuos in length, easily beatable in 1 hour... and would last 2 only if you stall. Does anyone know how this DLC compares to the previous one?

How come VR simulators in sci-fi games always have that Tron look?
I would asume that by that time they would have the tech to support something better than wireframe, or that they wouald had moved away from polygon tech for that mather.
