StarCraft 2 Beta Will Start This Year
by Chris Faylor, Aug 21, 2009 12:22pm PDTThough StarCraft II was recently delayed into 2010, Blizzard is still confident that the promised multiplayer beta will indeed kick off before the end of the year.
"I'm confident the beta will start this year," Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaim told BlizzCon Live Stream host Geoff Keighley in an interview following today's press conference.
"We don't have a date yet, but that is a focus--we're working on getting the beta ready," Morhaime added. "We don't want to put it out too early."
