Bloody Fairytale Fights Come to Consoles in October, PC Next Year
by Chris Faylor, Aug 17, 2009 9:35am PDTThink you're a bad enough dude to go into combat wearing just a crown and a leaf? You'll be able to find out in a few months, as developer Playlogic has dated the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of its dismemberment-filled Unreal Engine 3-powered take on fairytale rivalry for an October 27 release in North America and October 23 in Europe.
As Playlogic explains, Fairytale Fights sees a squad of characters "whose glory days have long since passed"--Jack, Naked Emperor, Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White--"set about on their quest to regain their lost fame and fortune from the fairytale kingdom."
In addition to the release date, the developer noted plans for "deep and interactive downloadable content to be released on a regular basis post launch."
The PC edition of the four-person cooperative hack and slasher, at one pointed expected to arrive alongside the console versions, is now slated to debut sometime next year.

For the PC crowd and those interested:
Just a question with all the delays for PC guys (like my self, I do have all sys but fav comp).
- Do you think that the delays are bad for the scene?
- Are you guys afraid that PC gaming will slowly die off?
- Do you think DX 11 and Win 7 will increase PC gaming in a positive way?
- If the GPU dies like some say will it kill pc gaming?
-What do gamers think in the future holds for the PC crowd? (PS4 and Xbox 720 replacements?)
