Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Trailer Oscar Mike

I hope this a bit more accessible than the ARMA series. I respect the amount of depth that ARMA has but sometimes I just want to sit down and lose myself in the gameplay without having to refer to a key binding sheet to recall important commands. Somewhere between BF2 and ARMA would be a nice place.

I know people will scoff but I thought Soldner had gotten about right. Too bad the programming was a disaster.

I just got my new Sapphire HD4890 Toxic OC vid card in the mail, so I'm more than ready.
Can't wait to play this at 1920x1200 resolution with high settings...

I can't help but feel like this totally looks like an enhanced BF2 with Open World mechanics...

meh... i know there are plenty of ArmA hater in here..personally i like the game alot but then again i've been playing BI games since the original Flashpoint. i would tend to agree that it looks like a slightly larger BF2 map/gameplay. I agree that it isn't necessarily a bad thing but it is not what the Flashpoint series was all about.

ArmA will take the win, i am pretty damned sure of it. The ADHD nature of console gamers almost assures it, there is still a large flashpoint (1) following and the mods just keep pouring out for the ArmA games.

Yeah it's buggy, yeah it's difficult. ever been in the military? that is some buggy and difficult shit, trust me I know ('90-'94 MLRS crewmember On the Minute!), i treat the "issues" of arma as a simulation of the FUBARed way the military does things.
