Metroid Prime Trilogy Screenshots: Ah, Memories
by Chris Faylor, Aug 05, 2009 9:13am PDTSeven years was a long time ago, Metroid Prime, but you're still looking good. Have you had some work done? Maybe gone under the knife for Retro-fitted motion controls?
I must get back to work, but it was nice to see you and your younger siblings again. Can you all stop back around August 24? It'd be nice to catch up with the three of you in one go, and it'd be that much easier (and cheaper) if you came together. It'll be fun! We'll play some Wii, maybe mess around with pointing and waggling, and see what happens.
(Packing all three entries of Retro's shooter-adventure series on one disc, Metroid Prime Trilogy hits the Wii on August 24, with the studio having added the motion-centric Wii controls of Prime 3 into the previously GameCube-only Metroid Prime 1 and 2.)

Can you just plug in the classic control, or a gamecube classic controller and play through them? As much as people say they love the wiimote and how great games like MP3 and mario galaxy were with it, I fucking hate it.

What I wouldn't give to see these games in full-blown HD bleeding edge graphical quality. ;_;
