Hearts of Iron 3 Demo Samples 4 Months of WWII

A demo of Paradox's Hearts of Iron III (PC) is now available on FileShack, allowing those interested in the strategy game to play through a tutorial and the first four months of World War II from the perspective of Germany, France, Poland or the United Kingdom.

The full version is slated to hit North American retailers and digital distribution outlets this Friday, August 7, with UK and Scandinavian shops getting the game on August 14 and those in France and Germany beginning to stock it on August 28.

This one actually has a tutorial? Years ago I tried (a couple of times) the demo for a previous iteration but it had no tutorial and I never could be bothered to makes heads or tails of it. This time I may actually try it seriously.

These games have always scared me. Seems like so much to look over and do. I always want to give it another shot, maybe I will try this one and see how it goes.
