Wheel of Time Games Nab 'Wanted' Screenwriter
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 04, 2009 7:23am PDTWanted screenwriter Chris Morgan has been appointed story director for Red Eagle Games' series of adaptations of Robert Jordan's 'The Wheel of Time' fantasy novels.
"As a massive fan of The Wheel of Time series, and a lifelong gamer, I jumped at the chance," said Morgan, who also wrote The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and is penning the upcoming Gears of War movie. "It's really a dream opportunity for me."
Red Eagle is planning several Wheel of Time games across every platform known to mankind under the EA Partners label, as well as an MMORPG for platforms unknown.
Morgan joins others including EA exec Tom Frisina and a branding expert on an advisory council to support Red Eagle's adaptations of Jordan's swords and sorcery series.

FAIL!
How the hell does this translate to the Wheel of Time series? Are we going to see characters threatening to bust a spell in someone's ass?
