TMNT: Turtles in Time XBLA Gets Lower Price
by Chris Faylor, Jul 31, 2009 10:20am PDTLess than a week before its scheduled debut on Xbox Live Arcade, Ubisoft has lowered the price of the downloadable TMNT: Turtles in Time remake to 800 MS Points ($10).
Slated to hit Xbox 360 on August 5, the beat 'em up was priced at 1200 MS Points ($15). The lower price should theoretically apply to the coming PlayStation 3 release as well.
"We wanted to give something to the loyal TMNT fans in honor of the 25th anniversary," publisher Ubisoft told Joystiq after IGN broke the story. The Xbox 360 release is part of Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade," with an 800 MS Point ($10) rebate offered to those that spend 5200 MS Points ($65) to buy all five "Summer of Arcade" games.

They don't make stories like they used to. (Especially when they're "breaking" them as PR organs for the companies involved.)
