IL-2 Sturmovik Lands on Consoles September 15
by Chris Faylor, Jul 23, 2009 8:32am PDTWorld War II flight combat simulator IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey will hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PSP on September 15, publisher 505 announced today.
The first console release of 1C's once PC-only wartime flight sim series, Birds of Prey is said to pack four multiplayer modes, over 50 campaign missions, and a "completely flexible difficulty" system that goes "from arcade to realistic simulation."
Gaijin Entertainment handled the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version, with DiP Interactive helming the Nintendo DS edition and SME Dynamic Systems on the PSP release.
