Picked this game up yesterday. Approximately how long does it take a gamer of medium to high skill to unlock the medic class?
And what exactly is the medic class? Anything like BF2s?-

Medic class has two abilities, one you get when you unlock the class: the revive gun. Hit a downed teammate with it to bring them back. You can also kill enemies with it with a few zaps. The other ability comes after you get 8 Revival Specialist badges. Revive 5 teammates in one round to get a badge.
Once you have that, you unlock droppable health packs. If you drop 5 packs that get used by teammates in a round, you get a Healing Specialist badge. Get 8 of those badges, and you can use Med Packs as the secondary ability on any class you have. -
I remember unlocking the medic very quickly. Maybe just a couple of hours. If you join a team deathmatch server you can rank up really fast (I prefer objectives though). This game is cruel at first since you have very little ammo/grenades and you have to earn more but, you'll gain those before you get the medic.

Like right off the bat. It's one of the first ones.. You get the revival gun then you get the med bags that you can drop everywhere n let people pick them up at will. This game is great, it gets deeper and deeper the higher your ranking with all the different classes.
Also, WTF is up with Nick Breckon saying it's "predictably" named Napalm & Cordite. The only people who use the word napalm are Vietnam vets and Cordite? Really? Let's be honest there's nothing predictable about the naming scheme. They make sense, but are nowhere near predictable.
Slightly more bang for the buck with the new weapons but the fact that they'll only be on these maps and not even on both together makes it awkward..
