LittleBigPlanet Community Passes 1 Million Level Mark

Media Molecule announced today that over one million levels have been created for its PS3 platformer LittleBigPlanet. In all, community-created levels have been played over 244 million times.

If you're anything like me, you haven't played LittleBigPlanet in months, and are suddenly feeling a bit guilty about that. In light of that, here's a trailer from Media Molecule highlighting some of the best user-created maps--which should suddenly make you feel a bit worse.

LBP was the only game I bought for my PS3, otherwise I used it solely for BD playback.
I moved about 3 months ago and I packed away my PS3... I still haven't had a reason to unpack it.

I really do love this game, but for local play only. Sadly, PSN destroys online anything with LBP - 9/10 times I try to play with others online and I get a lag fest that forces me to quit. THIS is why I wish the PS3 had something close to the quality of Live for online stuff - and sadly it's the main reason why I turn my PS3 on perhaps once per month (blu-ray playback aside).

- I have not experienced lag with *any* PSN game besides LBP. I don't think it has to do with LBP at all a... : phinn

bizarrely i have had exactly that guilty feeling today and quite a few other days in recent weeks and months. i'm still waiting for the community web-portal they announced where people can put direct links to their levels, anyone know what happened to that? i'd rather view a proper description and read comments on a level before loading it up and playing it and finding out it's boring (do that ten times in a row and you end up switching the game off).

Yeah, I hadn't played in a long time until yesterday evening, where I played some local 4-player games. It was really great! Last time I tried multiplayer, it was online and it was completely unplayable due to massive lag all the time, everytime I tried. I hope this has been fixed since then, because I can rarely play local multiplayer games.
