Transformers DLC Adding More Robots, MP Maps

Publisher Activision today revealed a summer-due downloadable content pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of Luxoflux's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Said to appeal to both fans of the original animated series and the more recent films, the as-yet-unpriced download will deliver over ten new characters, three new multiplayer maps, and an "expert" difficulty level alongside more achivements and trophies.

Among the additions, Sideswipe (left) and G1 Starscream (right).

Only two of the new robots, Sideswipe and G1 Starscream, were mentioned in the announcement, with all of the new robots usable in both single and multiplayer modes.

Wow. G1 robots! This game might have sucked, but it's impressive they went through the trouble to create these models and have DLC in the first place.

Well of course there's going to be DLC. EVERYTHING has it now, it's like it's friggin mandatory. It's especially popular with movie-tie-ins.
