Evening Reading
by Nick Breckon, Jul 14, 2009 6:00pm PDTBattlefield 1943 is surprisingly fun. I'm sure I'll get more out of playing with Shackers on the PC, but flying in particular is clearly well-suited to the 360 controller.

For most of us, if the OS doesn't provide some short-cut and doens't come with an IE installer disk thrown-in as a cheeky extra, we can always download it on another machine and use a USB stick.
I was thinking that MS should put it on an easily memorable UNC share so that people can type something like \\ie.ie\ie.exe into the start menu to grab the installer. :) (The SysInternals tools are available via a UNC share accessible from the whole Internet so they could do it with IE as well.)
