Those waiting for a deal to give Prototype a shot didn't have to wait long: Amazon's gaming deal of the day is a $20 savings on all three versions of Radical's open-world action title.

The sale drops the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions to $40, while the PC version has been reduced to $30.

For the Gamestop sale going on I just confirmed that Bionic Commando is $20 for both Xbox 360 and PS3. Not just 360 as the ad suggests. I picked up a copy and I think at that price it's a steal.

This game is alot of fun, anyone who liked Crackdown should probably get a copy - anyone who prefered the melee attack should absolutely get one.

I loved the game, and I got it for the PC. So much fun and the way they allow you to mercilessly slaughter in the way you see fit is by far the most enjoyable part. They really do a good job making you feel like an unstoppable vigilante.

My only beef is in the later levels all the tanks and helicopters magically equip themselves with automatic homing sniper missiles that can knock you down 3x before you get a chance to recover. And that's WITH the stupid air recovery upgrade.
