Crackdown Dev Working on Second 'Ambitious' MMO
by Nick Breckon, Jun 23, 2009 2:25pm PDTRealtime Worlds, developer of Crackdown and the upcoming GTA-esque MMO All Points Bulletin, is working on a "very ambitious" second MMO, according to Gamasutra.
Company CEO David Jones, co-creator of the original Grand Theft Auto, today announced the existence of the project during a keynote presentation at the GameHorizon conference.
Though Jones did not comment on the nature of the game, he did reveal that the company's 2005 raising of $30 million in venture capital, assumed to be collected for APB, was in fact meant for the unannounced project.
"It's even more ambitious than APB," said Jones. "We'll enjoy talking about that in 2010."
