Upon its revelation earlier this year, Lost Planet 2 was only announced for Xbox 360. Capcom later teased PC and PS3 editions, and confirmed the PC version shortly after. Given Capcom's policy against major platform exclusives, this isn't that surprising.
Still no word on the downloadable Xbox 360 demo of Lost Planet 2 that Capcom was hoping to have out around now, but the full game is due no later than March 31, 2010.

Hopefully they will take the time to make optimize it for PS3. I didn't see the sense in releasing it like a year after...
