The story to the first game was incomprehensible. By the end of the game there was no way to tell what the hell was going on. It ruined the whole game for me.

It's amazing how just a little effort on the story would have saved an otherwise awesome game.

I don't know why, but I REALLY didn't like the first one. I bought it near release date because I had some friends swearing by it, and it just totally failed to grab me.
