Doesn't this just insult and retcon all of Eric Nylund's highly entertaining words in Fall of Reach? What with the lack of a ship battle of unprecedented size, things blowing up on the planet while people above still had time to care, apparent lack of orbital super-sized MAC turrets, etc.
