Batman: Arkham Asylum Trailer Shows Playable Joker

What a rotter that Joker is. His Batman: Arkham Asylum challenge room levels exclusive to the PlayStation 3 apparently feature not japes and jolliness, but murder and mayhem.

Batman: Arkham Asylum arrives August 25 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Joker challenge levels will be available free on the PlayStation Network from launch.

Awesome. I'm so glad they didn't base this off the dark knight style. That was the worst batman movie ever and nobody likes an emotard joker. I;m pumped for this.

Wow that looks kickass. They actually added new custom animations (and story?) for a platform exclusive bonus? Seems like a lot of work. Hopefully that means theyll release it as DLC later on for the others.

On a side note having him say "only on Playstation 3" in the Joker voice cheapened the whole thing a little huh?

Well, I'm fucked now aren't I. It seemed pretty definite that I'd be picking this up for PC 5 minutes ago. Why did they have to show me this shit? Please don't make me play the game in 720p for the sake of some exclusive DLC. Fucks sake.

First of all, the Joker needs his own game.

Secondly, I'm still buying the 360 version because I'm an achievement whore (and because this will surely come out on the 360 eventually, giving me a reason to play the game again a few months after it comes out).

Thirdly, for the love of God I hope Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 doesn't also have exclusive content that looks this good (although a lot of what was shown in that trailer is in the full game other than the actual 40 or so seconds of gameplay).
